Описание:
My typical day as an NDT Inspector in the hub of Wind Turbines.
Prep: Post-Toolbox Talk, you suit up in a full-body fall arrest harness and helmet.
The Climb: Transit via service lift or ladder; verify the fall protection "traveller" is secure before ascending.
Isolation: Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) to kill power and engage the rotor lock before entering the hub.
The Inspection: Perform Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing on depressurised hydraulic accumulators to scan for internal flaws or thinning.
Recommission: Clear all tools/couplant, remove LOTO devices, and sign off the turbine back into service.
