Bruges is a UNESCO world heritage site in Belgium and one of the best
preserved medieval towns in Europe. It is also famous for Christmas markets and romantic canals. The word 'Bruges' is the English word for 'Brugge' in Dutch. This name probably has been given due to the presence of lot of bridges as bridges are called 'Brugge' in old Dutch language.
The main attractions in this city are Church of Our Lady, Belfry and St.Salvator's Cathedral along with the famous bridges like Boniface bridge.
