African American Cultural Defined: Introduction Video

Below is an intro video for a series of shorts where I will be addressing the claim, by Continental Africans and Africans in the Diaspora, that African-Americans have "no culture." I've stayed on the sidelines for too long and it is time we nip this in the bud. The framework in which I will be using comes from Dr. Wade Nobles from his article "Utilizing Culture in the Achievement of Educational Excellence for African American Adults: from Cultural Precepts to Recurring Themes" (2004). In his essay he defines African-American culture as the synthesis of 8 Cultural Precepts and 9 Recurring Themes as listed below. Many of you may be familiar with this as I utilized it in my 2008 book The Bakala of North America.
