Sol and The Tribu is a musical group of Cuban musicians that blends traditional Caribbean music and modern technology with a distinct Miami twist. As ambassadors of The New Miami Sound, they pride themselves on what makes Miami “The Magic City” with its blend of Caribbean influences and American swamp funk. Their album Miami 3050 is a conceptual album, based on the story of three superheroes that come from the year 3050 to the present-day to save the future of music by preserving its roots. With their storyline, the purpose is to preserve Caribbean cultural identity and Miami history through music and visual art that promotes our uniqueness. Their most recent EP, Positive Vibration Nation, released in Fall 2020, was created during the Corona Virus quarantine. It features 6 tracks created during the quarantine of the Corona Virus. Conceptually, it encourages positive thinking and is an uplifting portrait of the band in times of uncertainty.

Sol and The Tribu- “tribu” meaning tribe- is a musical creative collective. The band itself has six members but more than twenty musicians and creatives form part of The Tribu Collective. Together they curate and produce all original material that represents the 3-0-5 and its cultural diversity.

Cuban American Grammy Nominated international recording artist from Miami, Sol Ruiz is interprets in English, Spanish and Italian and has toured in Europe, Canada, and The Caribbean. Multifaceted, she plays various instruments, produces, arranges, composes, and sings. Currently, she is touring Europe, playing with Vinicio Caposella and other artists. She curates and produces original material that represents Miami and its cultural diversity and has 6 albums released in her career. Uniquely blending of Caribbean music and European Boheme, she performs with explosive and passionate interpretations.
