The wrist CARs are great as a mobility exercise prior to a workout, while also improving general control/strength. The wrist is often neglected, unfortunately.
Think about your front rack position. Do you have the needed mobility at the wrist? How about the transitional phase of a clean? If you don't have the mobility and/or control, it's a recipe for disaster.
When completing these, make sure you are working in your pain free, available range. Be consistent. If you don't have full range at the beginning, no big deal. You'll get there!
