Marta sings three songs by this gifted composer, lyrics by the famous Alfred Grünwald and Fritz Löhner-Beda. A surprise letter to Marta from Paul Abraham. The podcast relates how Marta met the great soprano Maria Jeritza and first saw Jan Kiepura on the opera stage in 1926, the man she would marry ten years later! Also letters of praise from playwright Gyula Komor to the young Marta and Marta’s praise for the gifted actress and singer Franciska Gaal all based on Marta’s own written recollections and personal archives.
