Commodo rejoins the label Black Acre for another waltz with the vanguard of soundsystem roots. The Sheffieldier king of sampling techniques creates a prohibition Manhattan, complete with skulking detectives, bar brawls and South East Asian jungles. The hype around title track, “Dyrge”, has been circulating for over a year, since Commodo and selected others began rinsing it in their sets. The enigma was borne and researched by the community but can finally be put to rest. Black Acre clear the mist and set the stage for Dyrge.
