Hello,

In this session, we will look at an introduction to IAM identity providers and get an understanding of how identity providers work. Identity providers can be used to give access to AWS accounts to the users outside the AWS account. Here, we can leverage the existing user directory and use identity providers to give access to AWS accounts with the necessary permissions. Here, we can make use of IAM role which will provide the temporary credentials to authenticate to the AWS account. We do not use any long-term credentials with identity providers.
