I cross Europe on foot and I need you!!

Описание: My name is Alexandre Gandon, and my nickname is Alexandre Supertramp. That nickname comes from my passion for walking and the cramps it can lead to, the music band sharing the same name, and most of all my hero: Christopher McCanddless (from the true story « Into the Wild ») calling himself « Alexander Supertramp »!

I am passionate about going into new adventures, only on foot! I walk alone but I am not often alone! Indeed walking is slow but also fast, since it can lead me to meet good people on my way who wants to know more about what I am doing. And walking enables me to interact with something I love: the Wild Nature!

I like to show all the characteristics of my sport, which are often unknown, whereas walking is the oldest natural gift that human beings have received! Throughout my adventures on foot, I want to make you discover new smart ways of travelling, respecting the locals, the environment, and explain what what is the history of the spots I go through. I like also to put greater emphasis on our future main challenges (environmental, social...). My goal is to explain how to interact alone with the Nature and explain that the Nature is not bad or good: it is like this and you have to take it like a gift! I need my friends and the people I meet to have enough energy to do this: so my projects are always collective.

I have already walked across different countries, such as Portugal, Spain, France. During the summer 2018, I crossed 400 kms on foot in 12.5 days in Italy, and this is defined that trip that led me to target something bigger: EUROPE! Indeed, it appeared to me that the locals are much more inclined to open their doors than usual tourists, and I want to open those doors!

The 10th of February 2019, I started my European walk, with the willing to go from Cannes in the south of France to Copenhagen in Denmark and maybe more of I have enough budget! I went through France, Switzerland, and I am now in Germany, after about 1,300 kms walked. So I still have to walk about 2 months to get to Copenhagen.

However I am facing some unexpected events and I have to find money! My adventure and the cities we will go together depend on you and I hope to find support here!

Finally, note that I always carry a lot of gadgets allowing me to be in autonomy, and... caddies! My caddies lead me to unexpected funny situations and I am really grateful to them! The current caddie I walk with is called Serge, in reference to a famous French singer called Serge Gainsbourg.

Oh and if you cannot support me financially, no problem I will understand. But if you support me, I will give you something back!
