This was supposed to be a normal day exploring El Centro in San Salvador… until I met a guy named Charlie.

He offered me a full body massage for $20 — and let’s just say it turned out to be one of the craziest massages of my life. At one point, I thought he almost snapped my neck! 😂

But what started as a wild massage quickly turned into one of the best days of my trip. Charlie ended up showing me around the area, introduced me to some locals, and we even rode the free city bikes (highly recommend!).

I went from almost getting my neck cracked… to making new friends and having an amazing day in El Centro. Without Charlie, this would’ve been a boring day — instead it became one I’ll never forget.
