The Boston Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks 106-88, in Game 5 of the NBA Finals Presented by YouTube TV to win the 2024 NBA Finals, 4-1. Jrue Holiday finished with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists, while Derrick White added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals in the victory.
With the series win, the Celtics now have 18 NBA Championships, breaking a tie with the Los Angeles Lakers and giving them the most in NBA history.
