The "Bushwick Love Letter" Roundtable on Gentrification & Housing Activism" brought together activists and community members to discuss gentrification in Bushwick and the struggle to remain in our neighborhoods, and share resources for how to plug into local actions.
Moderated by Cynthia Tobar, the roundtable included panelists Josh Carrera, Julián Gomez, Gladys Puglla, and Ariella Riapos.
This roundtable was produced in partnership with Cynthia Tobar's "Cities for People, Not for Profit" (www.citiesforppl.org) oral history project, which traced the history of ongoing gentrification and the fight for affordable housing in Bushwick.
