In this video, we build a simple Python desktop app that automatically cuts a long video into short clips using FFmpeg.
We’re learning together, step by step:
✅ Python GUI with tkinter
✅ FFmpeg / ffprobe to cut video clips
✅ Choose clip length: 15 / 30 / 60 seconds
✅ Set the maximum number of clips
✅ Skip the first and last minute of the video (avoid intros/outros)
✅ “Random parts” mode for random clip sections
✅ Optional random file names (letters + digits 1–9, up to 10 chars)
This is a practical tool for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Reels workflows — especially if you want to batch-create clips fast.
