A tragic road accident occurred in Mulugu district on the auspicious day of Bhogi and Sankranthi,
turning a festive journey into a heartbreaking incident.
Near Eturunagaram, close to Bharat Petrol Bunk, a high-speed container vehicle
rammed into a Creta car coming from the opposite direction.
The impact was so severe that the car was completely crushed.
In this horrific accident, Vinod Kakarlapudi from Wajedu
lost his life on the spot.
Four others traveling in the car sustained serious injuries
and were immediately shifted to Eturunagaram Government Hospital.
Due to their critical condition, they were later referred to
Warangal MGM Hospital for advanced treatment.
Police reached the spot, cleared traffic, and registered a case.
Preliminary investigation suggests over-speeding as the main cause of the accident.
This incident is a painful reminder that a single moment of negligence
can destroy an entire family.
