Nimbus model C with straight 4 engine was produced in 12.000 pcs 1934-1959.
This bike had a complete engine restauration in May 1968.
In 1972 it was sold as army surplus by the Danish Army. It has not been started since.
Today it is rare to find a military Nimbus in this untouched condition.
Sven Johansson, who was running Röda Caféet in Huddinge with his wife from the early 80s, went to Denmark with a friend and bought a truck load of Nimbuses in 1972. This is one of 2 that he kept for himself. I bought it from him in 1999.
