Cousin TRIP! Phuket, Bangkok & Saigon

The adventure begins! After months of planning, our Southeast Asia trip is finally here. My cousin Michelle has always wanted to go to Thailand, so when the idea came up, we decided… why not just book it? Flights were locked in back in December, and now the journey is officially underway.

Honestly, that’s my biggest travel advice:
If there’s somewhere you want to go — just book the flight. You’ll figure the rest out along the way.

The first time I visited Thailand at 19 years old, it completely changed my life. Traveling opened my eyes to the world, and I’m so excited to experience Southeast Asia again with family.

💪 Travel Day started the only way I know how — with a quick workout. I figured I better get one in before two weeks of exploring, eating amazing food, and probably not sticking to my usual routine.

Next stop: Sacramento where I met up with the family for some Korean BBQ before the big journey. A couple mornings later, my parents picked me up from my sister’s place, we grabbed my cousin Michelle, and headed to San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

🚗 One car ride.
✈️ One flight.
✈️ A few more flights later…

…and we finally made it to Vietnam!

We landed super late, checked into the hotel even later, but decided to explore anyway — jet lag and all. Our first night in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) included:

🍜 Late-night pho
🚶‍♂️ Walking the city streets
🌃 Soaking in the energy of the city until 2AM

Not a bad way to start the trip.
