Dennis Eagle have recently announced the launch of their new eRCV (electric Refuse Collection Vehicle), the ‘eCollect’, the culmination of over five years development to provide a viable alternative to traditional diesel powered RCV’s.
Their Product Marketing Manager, Andy Graves, will provide a brief overview of their company and history and then give an overview of the testing, type approval and optimisation processes, which have also included field trials and proving ground testing.
During the presentation, safety and durability are also covered, for what is effectively a multi-function machine on a truck platform, rather than just a truck.
