Indian intelligence agency RAW’s terrorist network exposed: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and federal intelligence agencies, in a joint operation, uncovered a network working for India’s intelligence agency RAW and arrested six suspects. It has been revealed that RAW was involved in the killing of a social figure in Badin’s Matli area on May 18. Evidence also shows that RAW was using a separatist organization for its operations.

With the cooperation of federal intelligence agencies, CTD Karachi arrested six key operatives of RAW, exposing a major network of the Indian intelligence agency. Reports indicate that RAW was directly involved in the murder of Abdul Rehman, a well-known local social worker recognized for his welfare efforts, in Matli, Badin, on May 18, 2025. According to Additional IGP Azad Khan, the mastermind of the plot was a RAW agent named Sanjay Kumar, alias “Fauji,” residing in a Gulf state. He hired Salman, a resident of Sheikhupura, for a large sum of money. Salman entered Pakistan via Karachi Airport and stayed at a hotel in Hyderabad. RAW transferred large amounts of money through banks and other means to fund the operation.

Azad Khan further revealed that on July 8, based on technical intelligence, four suspects—Umair Asghar, Sajjad, Ubaid, and Shakeel—were arrested. Later, on August 17, another suspect, Arsalan, was apprehended, followed by the arrest of one more individual on August 22. The arrested suspects not only confessed to working as local agents for RAW but were also linked to a banned organization. After the murder, Salman fled from Karachi to a Gulf country and later moved to Nepal. Authorities also recovered the murder weapon, a motorcycle, and mobile phones from the arrested suspects.
