I was getting ready to feed my honey bee hives when something BIG caught my eye…
That was NOT a honey bee. 🐝
In this video I’m feeding my colonies 1:1 sugar syrup and winter pro patties, using liquid smoke, and getting the girls ready as temperatures start warming up here in Florida. But in the middle of it all, I was surprised by a beautiful American bumblebee — a native pollinator that is much larger than a honey bee.
