First, the good news: I am able to increase the amount I save toward my long-term goals in January! Now, the bad news: a setback with an unexpected tax bill means that I have to replenish my emergency fund, as it's taken a hit, so I am starting well behind the goal line. But nevertheless I persevere, and I am so glad you are here, cheering me on.
