Instructions:
Start with an A2 size piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock. Spray a blend of blue Distress Sprays on the top half of the panel. Dry each layer with a heat tool before adding the next. Once fully dry, spritz on Distress Mica Spray and Distress Spritz for added shimmer.
Repeat the same process on the bottom half using Antique Linen and Vintage Photo sprays to create a sandy look.
Using Black Archival Ink, stamp images from Tim Holtz Stamp Sets CMS071 (French Marketplace) and CMS448 (Eccentric) randomly over the background for visual texture.
Add splatters of Black Soot and Picket Fence Distress Paint over the entire panel. Dry thoroughly with a heat tool.
Stamp a bubble design stamp (or similar texture stamp) across the middle of the panel using embossing ink. Cover with white embossing powder, then heat set with an embossing tool.
Apply Translucent Grit Paste to the bottom portion of the panel to mimic sand. Let it dry completely.
Final Paint Splatters: Once the paste is dry, add a few more white and black splatters for layered detail.
Stamp a sentiment from Just Thoughts CMS078 onto vellum using a crisp black ink. Stitch the vellum piece directly to your card panel using a sewing machine or by hand for a handmade touch.
Lightly rub a Vintage Photo Mini Ink Pad over the raised areas of the grit paste to highlight texture of the sand.
