"New Mexico True" Statewide Sing-a-Long to "Feels Like Home"

With the help of the New Mexico Tourism Department, a total of 43 communities and organizations have combined for a unique, humorous, and occasionally-in-tune version of the catchy melody.

This unusual version is not a lip-sync video. These are the actual voices of several hundred New Mexicans singing about all the things that make the state "feel like home" to them.
Tourism Department representatives traveled all around New Mexico throughout a summer capturing each community's voices.
The song "Feels Like Home" has served as the catchy background tune for numerous TV and radio ads all across the state. The New Mexico Tourism Department first used the song in its own ads, and several communities have since followed suit.
It is the creation of the band Richmond, the musical partnership of Albuquerque natives Nate Boitano and Heath Warren. Nate and Heath first gained a measure of fame as members of the popular Albuquerque band Asper Kourt. They have been friends and musical collaborators since growing up next to each other.
