I climb the Cabelleros Trail in the "Trail" mode on the Shimano Steps motor. There are four modes Off, Eco, Trail and Boost. The Trail setting can be one of two modes if you use the eTube app to modify the motor settings. There is a Low and Medium option and this was left at the stock setting of Low.
As you can see I'm not ripping up the trail and the experience is much like a normal mountain bike. I have one of the fastest times up this trail on my regular mountain bike and can consistently finish in under ten minutes. The segment time in this video is eight minutes flat and as you can tell I had a lot of other people enjoying the trail as well. This is only the first few miles of a 34-mile ride.
