🍳 Method
Prepare filling:
In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, mayo, peri-peri sauce, cheese, salt & pepper.
Prep chillies:
Make a lengthwise slit in each chilli and remove seeds. Wash and dry them.
Stuff chillies:
Fill each chilli with the chicken-cheese mixture.
Coat:
Roll stuffed chillies first in flour, then dip in beaten egg, and finally coat well with breadcrumbs.
For extra crispiness, you can repeat the egg + breadcrumb step one more time.
Chill (optional):
Fry:
Heat oil in a deep pan. Fry the peri bites until golden and crispy (about 5–7 minutes).
Serve:
Serve hot with your favourite dipping sauce (extra peri sauce or mayo dip).

No super-hot chillies: Use milder green chilies if you don’t want it very spicy.
More cheese: Add a cheese stick inside each chilli for extra cheesiness.
Even coating: Double-dip in egg + crumbs so the crust doesn’t fall while frying.
Air-fryer option: Cook in an air fryer at 180 °C for 10–12 min to make it lighter. (Nottraditional but doable.)
