There are zero waste shops all round the country and sometimes it works out cheaper to refill some products. You will be reducing your consumption of plastic packaging and supporting small businesses.

Renewable energy reduces your consumption of fossil fuels, which is a major contributor to the climate emergency.

This not only saves money, but saves plastic waste and will likely not have any chemicals in it so is better for your skin as well.

1. Use what you already have
This obviously saves you money, but more importantly, for the environment it saves products from having to being made, which takes energy and resources from the earth. Less energy has to be consumed if more people made their own products, reused items and made things last a lifetime. Some of the items we are reusing are older than one person’s lifetime and are still good enough to use.
