Traversal 5 with Mature Yukimura Sanada on "Transient Hero" Training Mode. Full run.
This is a 'controlled' randomized Hero; you actually get to pick out of who you got at the Crystal Sapling that is NOT in your current Formation. Basically the first biome is effectively the same until you get seven Heroes (or you remove them from your Formation early, of course) and then you start seeing the random Hero selection kick in; as you can see building a party that is 'Hero agnostic' is the way to go with this one since you are not guaranteed to get your starting Hero back. In this case I had enough Brave Generals to make use of Chen Gong... and then the game blessed me by giving Kenshin Uesugi and Zuo Ci back to back for the final battles.
Brave General and Flower of War are fairly good options to focus on, but you are not guaranteed to get them to work.
The Hero you started with gains all the levels at the end of the run.
