Shova Rani Nursing College was established on 2005 with a capacity of 50
student intake offering B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, approved by The Indian
Nursing Council, New Delhi and affiliated to West Bengal University of Health
Sciences, now the capacity of Student intake enhanced, it is 80. The Post
Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme started on September 2020, approved by
The Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and affiliated to West Bengal
University of Health Sciences with a capacity of 30 students. Our students
are equipped with comprehensive training of international standards and
they are continuously thriving towards competency based nursing education
and skill development. At present the College is successfully running full
fledged with 305 students.

Founder Chairman:- The KPC Group is a worldwide conglomerate- founded by
Mr. Kali Pradip Chaudhuri.
Dr. Chaudhuri is recognized worldwide as a visionary who has successfully
integrated modern medical science with state-of-the art technology, tools
and today’s Information Technology enabled management techniques to

A highly successful physician/entrepreneur with immaculate credentials, Dr.
Chaudhuri has practiced in four major Continents and in countries like USA,

Hemet, California with his wife Sunanada, and children, Kali Priyo and

Hospital as one of the leading private medical and nursing colleges in the
state of West Bengal.

certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. In addition to his
immaculate track record as a highly respected orthopedic surgeon, Dr.

Leadership:-
The Society:- KPC Medical College and Hospital, Jadavpur is a society
registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1961, and is co-founded by
Dr. Kali Pradip Chaudhuri and the Government of West Bengal.
The main objective of the Society is to impart medical education by running,
establishing, constructing Medical colleges and Institutions either directly or
indirectly.
The Board of the founding members of the Society includes Dr. Kali Pradip
Chaudhury, his family members, friends, associates and representatives of
the Government of West Bengal.
