Another one for the Ferraristi out there ... These beautiful Ferrari 156/85s are not quite the thrill to listen to that the V12 412T I already posted is.
The engine is a 1500cc twin-turbo V6, and the exhaust feeds an aerodynamic diffuser - a venturi-effect tail section that works like a Dyson fan, using exhaust gas to try and draw air out from under the car and create downforce. That's still no excuses for the way these cars sound! This car did a few laps with the F5000 cars and you couldn't hear it at all !!
I hope that the 2014 cars sound a bit more dynamic than these beauties, but I'm not hopeful.
