Weekly meal prep has been one of the most important systems in my weight loss journey. Prepping my protein every week—especially on the smoker—keeps me out of the drive-through lines at lunchtime and helps us stick to a solid meal plan.
When protein is ready ahead of time, meals are faster, groceries are cheaper, and we avoid last-minute fast food decisions. Over the last five months, this kind of consistency is what has helped me stay on track and continue losing weight.
This week’s smoker meal prep included three chicken breasts and a whole roaster chicken to finish out the week. We also pulled brisket from the freezer from a previous cook and added fresh fish to round out our meals.
