Safe to Sleep Baby Sleep & Breathing Monitor uses a comfortably sleep mat that your babies sleeps directly on, the pad monitors the breathing and sleep patterns directly to your smart phone and to a dedicated parent unit. The comfortable sleep mat has a waterproof surface and an anti microbial surface that's has a softly padded construction for your baby to sleep directly on.

The mat itself has a built in microphone for use with the audio monitor on the parent unit and speakers for you to streaming music directly from your phone. Inside the foam mattress is a series of fiber optic sensor that monitor the movement of your baby and detecting the rise & fall of your babies chest to monitor breathing. The sensor will also monitor your babies sleep patterns and time spent asleep.

All the information picked up by the sensor is fed directly to both monitoring units, however the smart phone app will create heavily detailed logs on sleeping patterns and breathing patterns.

If the monitor detects that your babies breathing is becoming erratic or has stopped completely the monitor will sound its high pitched alarm to warn you so you can act quickly an effectively. Built in to the parent unit is an Audio monitor that uses the micro built into the sensor mat to detect any crying or noise throughout the night, the parent unit also has a breathe rate monitor and movement monitor.
