Last year I uploaded a video on my channel, making holographic butterfly and hummingbird suncatchers using holographic silicone moulds. In this video I am making some with black resin, so see how the holographic texture translates on black.
I bought the moulds and suncatcher chains from Temu, but I have made the decision that I will no longer be buying from them so I haven't included links to the exact moulds. However, holographic moulds are available from Amazon and most other companies that sell silicone moulds. I've also included detailed instructions on how I attach the beads and finish them so I hope you find that helpful.
Materials used:
Holographic silicone moulds
Apex High Gloss two part epoxy resin from Just 4 You Online
Vista liquid pigment in black - from Vista
Split rings - from Amazon
Suncatcher beads
Nylon thread - from local haberdashery shop
Small hand drill - from Amazon
