Описание: The Spruance-class destroyers were a series of 31 U.S. Navy warships commissioned between 1975 and 1983, designed primarily for anti-submarine warfare but capable of multi-mission operations. Built by Ingalls Shipbuilding, they were the first large U.S. Navy destroyers to feature gas turbine propulsion, using four General Electric LM2500 engines for high speed, rapid startup, and reduced maintenance compared to steam power. Their sleek, spacious design allowed for easy upgrades, which proved essential over their service life.
