A brief overview of Sony controls within FieldMonitor, and the display latency you can expect.
Note that "Smart Remote" Sonys with an Application List menu do NOT allow any of the following via Wi-Fi remote control:
Use of Picture Profiles: no log shooting!
Movie mode focus settings other than M or AF-C
Focus point setting in movie mode.
Use of any focusing aids such as peaking or image magnification.
However, "Ctrl w/ Smartphone" cameras, like the A7Riii, A99ii, A9, and other recent models, do allow Picture Profiles, and S-Log when the camera offers it.
If your camera has "Ctrl w/ smartphone" in the menu, you will be able to use Picture Profiles. If your camera has an Application List menu item and uses Smart Remote Control or Smart Remote Embedded, then you can't use Picture Profiles.

Note: FieldMonitor can't make your camera do anything that Imaging Edge Mobile can't make it do, so if your camera won't do something (like shoot video) while using Sony's native app, it won't work any better using FieldMonitor.
