The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has called the people of Israel back to the land of their inheritance. Within this re-gathered nation, a remnant of believers in Yeshua, the Messiah, has emerged. Among them is Kehilat HaCarmel, a community of Messianic believers situated on Mount Carmel in the city of Haifa.

Mount Carmel holds deep biblical significance. Centuries ago, the prophet Elijah confronted the false prophets of Baal on this very mountain, and God responded in a miraculous way—sending fire upon the altar, as recorded in 1 Kings 18. That moment transformed the people of Israel. Today, Kehilat HaCarmel carries a vision of spiritual restoration, seeking to rebuild the Lord’s altar on these strategic heights and praying for the return of His presence to the Land of Israel.

Rebuilding God's altar in Israel today involves uniting the "living stones" of His people—Jews, Arabs, and other Gentiles—who are being forged into "one new man" through the fire of His love. As worship and service continue, this community is "being built together as a dwelling place for the Spirit of God" (Ephesians 2). Restoring the true worship of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob also entails fulfilling the mandate of Isaiah 58—caring for the poor and hungry in Israel and providing shelter and assistance to those in need.

Kehilat HaCarmel also welcomes international visitors through intensive study tours, offering biblical insights into the prophetic significance of Israel and a deeper understanding of God's work among His people today.
