What is Genius?
Genius is a marketing tool that gives our best partners more exposure on Booking.com. The program is designed to increase your visibility and grow your bookings with members of our loyalty program. Not all our partners are invited to join. We chose you because you have a good number of reviews with a high review score.

Why do I need to offer a discount?
To attract Genius members to your property, we ask you to give a minimum of 10% discount on your cheapest and/or best-selling room. If your cheapest room isn't your best-selling room, we'll offer the discount on both room types. In return, your property will be branded with the Genius logo. As a result, you'll get a boost in visibility, more bookings, and more revenue.

Who are Genius guests?
Genius is made up of three levels – and the higher the level, the more valuable the guest. Genius Level 1 starts when a customer creates a Booking.com account. Guests in Level 2 need to have completed five or more stays within two years, and guests in Level 3 need to have completed 15 or more stays within two years. Your 10% discount will be given to all Genius members. If you want to grow your bookings with our most-valuable guests, you can target them with extra discounts and value-adds.

Will I get more bookings as a Genius partner?
Yes. After subtracting the cost of the Genius discount, partners who join the program see an average increase of 18% more bookings and 24% extra revenue.

How can I track my performance?
Your personalized Genius report breaks down how many extra bookings, views, and revenue the Genius program is giving you. You'll also be able to see the net additional revenue Genius is bringing you after subtracting the cost of your Genius discount.

Which rooms can I offer Genius discount on?
To maximize your visibility as a Genius property, the 10% Genius discount is automatically applied to your cheapest and best-selling rooms. These are your primary rooms. If your cheapest room is also your best-selling room, the discount will only apply to that one. Every 6 months, we run a check to make sure you still have the cheapest and best-selling room(s) preselected as your primary room(s). If this has changed, we update your primary room(s) to ensure you get the most out of the program. To attract even more guests, you can also offer Genius discounts on additional room types. You can do so on the "Choose your rooms" page.
