Persian Kachi (Traditional Isfahani Dessert)
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
1 tablespoon butter
½ small glass of oil
1 cup water
Traditional Iranian rosewater (Golab)
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Instructions:
1. Sift the flour and place it in a pan over medium heat. Stir continuously until the flour turns slightly golden.
2. Add the butter and oil, and let the flour fry for a short while until fragrant.
3. Gradually add 3 cups of water and cook until the mixture thickens and comes together.
4. Stir in the sugar, rosewater, and cinnamon. Mix well.
5. Pour the Kachi into a serving bowl.
Enjoy it with Iranian tea. You can serve it hot or cold.
