Описание: Palpatine is he ultimate evil in the Galaxy of Starwars. If Yoda is the avatar for the Light, then Palpatine is the avatar for the Dark.
Palpatine was given an incredibly sinister motif, written by John Williams which first Appeared in the Final film of the Original Trilogy, in the 1980s, "Return of the Jedi" It has an unmistakable sinister feeling to it in its smaller iterations, and just screams "epitome of evil" when it is heard in its larger iterations, like when Palpatine tortures Luke and when he tries to cripple Yoda using the force.
Palpatine's motif is one of Starwars' most hidden motifs, in that it is often hidden in other character's own motifs too. For example, parts of his motif is used In Rey's own motif and then again in Kylo Ren's motif, showing Palpatine's connection to the Dyad. It is also used at the end of episode one "The Phantom Menace", in an interesting way. The ending parade the Gungans hold in Theed, the capitol city of Naboo is actually a sped up and light hearted version of Palpatine's theme, sung by children of Gunga city and also residents of Theed. Given what he has planned from the shadows, this just makes his character that bit more eerie. The future of the galaxy sings his theme.
