This week on the Coach House Extension build, we make big progress on two fronts.
We complete the bottom deck of the warm roof and get the vapour barrier installed, while Luke finishes the new step outside the boot room and pushes on with the external works.
Inside the house, we also start preparing the next phase of the refurb and take down the old kitchen wall (the wall with the green door) to open up the space for the future utility and corridor layout.
For safety reasons, we do not show the structural wall removal setup process in detail (including propping/support methods), as this is dangerous work if done incorrectly.
Plenty of progress in this episode — and more to come next week.
