Today's video is all about our Trincomalee trip, and we let on several places that we visit as well. Trincomalee is located in the eastern province and was once known as “Gokanna”.

Kanniya Hot Water Spring is located in Trinco, where there are 7 hot water wells on the site, and each well has a slightly different temperature from the others. All the wells are 3-4 feet deep with clear bottoms. Further, this place is maintained by the Department of Archaeology, and you have to take a Rs. 50.00 ticket for each and a parking ticket for your vehicle.

Our next destination is the Thirukoneshwaram, which is a religious place for Hindu pilgrims. There are five famous kovils in Sri Lanka that are dedicated to the Lord Shiva. They are located in five different places near the beach around Sri Lanka. These kovils are the Thirukoneswaram in Trincomalee, Kanthondeeswaram in Batticaloa, Naguleswaram in Jaffna, Munneswaram in Chilaw, and Thirikedeeswaram in Mannar. Further, our destination is located inside Fort Frederick and also the highest point of Swami Mountain.

There are a few popular beaches in Trincomalee, such as Nilaveli, Uppuveli, Marble, and Trincomalee Beach. We went to Trincomalee Beach because it’s very near to our destination. We had precious time here with the beautiful blue-colored sea. Then we had a great opportunity to visit the fishing boatyard and roam inside the fishing boat (Tolar Boat).
