Subnautica 2 is the newest game in Unknown Worlds’ beloved open-water survival series and recently launched into early access on nearly all platforms!

In Subnautica 2, we explore a new alien ocean world rich with vibrant biomes, strange creatures, and hidden secrets.
Being printed as a "QI" (Qualified Investigator) by the NoA Node to investigate what happened to previous colonists on the moon Proteus, we can play alone or with friends, craft tools, build custom bases, and navigate the depths and terrors to uncover the secrets of the Alterra Cicada program, the world trees and alien ruins on Proteus!

A completely overhauled base building system offers much more customizability and freedom when creating bases with custom shapes for rooms, a modular building system, movable placeables & many more QOL improvements!
The new Subnautica game officially introduced multiplayer co-op, offering a new way to experience the adventure with friends. Up to four players are able to explore the ocean’s vast environments together, and collaborate to craft tools, build bases, and face the challenges of a planet teeming with both beauty and danger.

The blighted environment, a new virus and new alien races serve as the mysteries driving the player deeper and deeper into Proteus' unknown oceans where they face dangers of creatures like the Collector Leviathan, groups of Shiver leviathans and more!
