Orcadas is an Argentine scientific station. As the oldest in Antarctica still in operation, it is located on Laurie Island. They conduct: glaciology, seismology, and meteorological observations. We have a chance to land and tour the station. Staff was thrilled to see visitors (by request we dropped off onions). And I can't imagine spending months here!
