Jeff Hale of J Hale Music explains the features of Eastman Guitars El Rey archtop. As a guide, here are the main points:
El Rey ER1 - Mahogany back/sides, spruce top. Most instruments have 1 pickup, special order for 2 pickups
El Rey ER2 - Flame maple back/sides, spruce top. Most instruments have 2 pickups, special order for 1 pickup.
El Rey ER3 - Mahogany back/sides, flame maple top, Small block under stop-style tailpiece, 2 pickups only.
El Rey ERO - Similar to ER2 except with oval sound hole and Fishman jazz bridge pickup.
All El Reys have the following features:
14" body with 2" rims
All solid wood, hand carved.
3 piece neck
ebony fingerboard
25" scale length.
