Testing the Fiido D2S Electric Pedal Assist Bike up Antipolo.
Took Cabrera Road uphill in Taytay, Rizal, which is one of the steepest roads I can find nearby.
The combined effort of pedal and electric pushes the bike to speeds of 25kph in all but the steepest gradients. Fast enough to leave other bikers, but barely enough to keep up with 150cc tricycles.
Should you opt to forgo pedalling, the little 250w motor can only muster 20kph in the same uphill section.
Downhill... that''s a different story!
