Описание:
Systemic sclerosis associated interstitial lung disease (or SSc-ILD) is a condition in which there is usually thickening and hardening of the skin, but which also affects the lungs.
Just as the skin becomes thickened and hardened, a similar process happens in the lungs, leading to interstitial lung disease and fibrosis (scarring).
