How to slow down motion in Adobe Premiere Pro (Speedramp)

Описание: If you want to slow down or speed up a motion inside Adobe Premiere Pro, you can do this using "keyframes".

In this example, I’ve created 2 identical nametags, and place them on top of each other. One is yellow and one is grey.

When I play this, both nametags are sliding in from the left in a very boring and linear way.

I’m going to show you how you can make this movement more smooth but also share a bonus tip at the end.

If we select the grey one and go to the “Effect Controls” window and open the effect “Transform”, you can see that I’ve animated this nametag by putting two different keyframes next to the property “Position”.
A starting point and an end point.

If you open up the Position property, you can actually see the speed of the movement, which in this case is linear.

If you now right click on the second keyframe, where the motion ends, go down to “temporal interpolation” and click “Ease In”, the movement will now slow down as it moves closer to the second keyframe.

To make this change even more extreme, you can drag out the handle under the keyframe so it slows down smoothly at the end.

If you also want the start of the movement to be more smooth, you can do the same thing with the first keyframe by right-clicking on it, go down to “temporal interpolation” but now click “Ease out” and then finetune this as you prefer.

And now, to the bonus tip, because we used the effect “Transform” instead of “Vector Motion” or “Motion”, you can now go to “Use Composition’s Shutter Angle”, deselect that and then change the value of “Shutter Angle” to 360, and you will get motion blur.
