L3 Communcations 'MULTI-MISSION AIRCRAFT' Dash-8 Q400 | Taxi & Takeoff at Prestwick Airport

Описание: L3 Communcations' brand new aircraft, a Multimission patrol Dash 8 Q400, departing Prestwick Airport (PIK/EGPK), heading to Farnborough Airshow 2018 in July for it's big reveal! 😀

This Bombardier Dash-8 Q400 (Registration: N404E) has been converted to a multi-purpose maritime patrol and communcations aircraft after serving many years with Flybe ferrying passengers around Europe. Quite a change for this Dash 8...two new large fuel tanks on either side of the plane, a multimission systems bay underneath, an observation window and even hard points for weapons!

This video was filmed at Glasgow Prestwick Airport (PIK/EGPK) on the 11th July 2018.
