I know many of you may be surprised but this is what my experience of sixteen years tell. Initially I used to teach Grammar to develop spoken English but then I realized that it is not working. On the contrary it was creating fear of making mistakes and stopping students from speaking freely and fluently.
In fact Grammar is not our problem. The problem is Psychological. We have Anglo-phobia-fear of English. As a Positive Psychology coach I have found that people have FEAR of making mistakes while speaking and looking foolish.
The best example is a baby who learns a language without knowing any Grammar. This is called Mother Tongue Approach. In my institute I use this method to develop the confidence and fluency in my students and tech then how to speak in English confidently. The results are mind-blowing.
