Ford F 150 Lightning SuperTruck completed the full Nurburgring lap in just 6 minutes and 43 seconds, making it the fifth fastest prototype car in the track's history and the fastest pickup truck vehicle ever recorded at the Ring.

The SuperTruck is even faster than the Ford SuperVan, which completed the lap in 6 minutes and 48 seconds, earlier this year.

The Ford F 150 Lightning SuperTruck is powered by 3 electric motors making 1,600 horsepower and by a 50 kilowatts hour liquid-cooled battery pack. It generates 6000 pounds of downforce at 150 miles per hour, runs on slicks with carbon-ceramic brakes, and features lightweight carbon-magnesium construction plus advanced torque vectoring systems.
