The Crew 2 - "One Track Mind" Summit (Top Run / Platinum Guide) - All Events!

Описание: The seventh week of The Crew 2 Hot Shots is going on and this week we got the "One Track Mind" Summit, where all 6 regular events take place on Pro Racing circuits. Here you can see how to get top results in all 9 events of this Summit, which will not only easily get you into the platinum ranks but even much higher than that. :)

This week we finally got a Summit with purely tarmac racing in all the regular events.

Among the skills we got another Speedtrap event. Here I got my worst result, since I don't have the double nitrous, which makes a big difference here. We also got two things that we actually didn't have at all yet with a Tarmac Slalom and a Water Escape.

For the Slalom you can use a variety of disciplines like Street Race, Hypercar, Touring Car or Alpha GP, since having a lot of skill point bonus is more important than being slightly faster. Even some Offroad disciplines could be the best choice for you here if they are the only ones where you have the legendary skill set.

For Touring Car we got a repeat of the Miami event from last week. Not sure why we get the same track with the same car twice in a row. Maybe the person choosing the events just didn't realize that the Italy restriction from last week was actually pointless because the best touring car is from Italy anyway.

We also got two events with the Ford GT LM. This car is somewhat slow but it's also pretty stable and both tracks for it are nice. A good opportunity to practice some smooth driving.

For Alpha GP we got two different tracks as well. Unfortunately the Miami track for Touring Car and the Golden Hills track for Alpha GP have some respawn cuts that allow you to skip a part of the track. As you know I don't really like these cuts though, so I am showing you what you can do without them.

The combo event lets us drive a Bugatti on a Touring Car track, which is actually a lot of fun. It's crazy how this car can take especially the last corner so much better than the touring cars that are actually supposed to be made for this.

Note that in several of this week's events you can probably improve a little bit by playing in a crew but for platinum it certainly shouldn't be necessary.

For all 6 race events you can just use my basic road car setup from here:    • The Crew 2 - Street Race Result Summary + ...   (changing the last 4 sliders and leaving the rest at the default for the car that you are using)

And since people keep asking about the performance parts I will summarize the basics once more:
Use parts with skill point bonus in the point-based skills (and the legendary skill point set if you have it).
Use parts with extra refill and other nitrous bonuses in the time-based events (and the legendary nitrous set if you have it).

Hopefully this guide will help some of you improve some of your scores and your overall leaderboard rank as a result. There might not be an exclusive car up for grabs this week but some of the events are pretty cool, so I would recommend giving them a try. :)

Update: Unfortunately it turns out that the Bugatti event has a respawn cut as well, so only the Ford events and the Jersey Alpha GP are without them. :(
