I was a victim of online credit card fraud that occurred on 25 November, which I reported to my bank and later escalated to the RBI Ombudsman. Despite following all required procedures, the issue remains unresolved.
To seek legal assistance, I approached Online Legal India and paid ₹3,539 for case registration. As instructed, I uploaded all required documents on their application/portal. However, even after successful submission, the app continues to show prompts to upload documents, creating confusion and lack of clarity regarding the actual status of my case.
When I contacted their helpline, I was repeatedly told that the case is “in progress,” but no one has contacted me, and no legal report, written update, or concrete action plan has been shared so far. There is no transparency or accountability regarding what steps have been taken after receiving payment.
This entire experience has seriously shaken my trust in such private legal institutions that claim to support common people and fraud victims. Instead of genuine legal assistance, I have faced uncertainty, delays, and poor communication.
I now simply request a full refund of the amount paid, as no effective service has been provided.
